I was introduced to user experience at an early age, however that was not something I knew then.
As long as I can remember getting new tech gadgets has been a sort of event in my family. Every time someone got a new phone, or some other tech, the whole family gathered around to experience the unboxing and to try out its functions.
The interest for technology grew with age and with that I became the go to person to ask for help with tech problems in the family. Which I absolutely love! I found it to be very interesting to see what things my family would get stuck on and after I would ask myself “why would they design it like that?”.
But it wasn’t until I started to study a course in Human Computer Interaction, at Uppsala University's IT program, that I understood my interest in user experiences. I then remembered all the times that I would geek over tech gadgets with my dad and all the times would help my family members with different tech problems. That was when I made the decision to quit IT at Uppsala to find an education about Human Computer Interaction. Since then I have taken my bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design at Stockholm University and my interest and curiosity has only grown. Now I am looking for new experiences and new adventures to teach me more.
